Dump truck carrying sand collides with car

GILBERT, Ariz. - The Elliot and Lindsay intersection was closed Monday morning after a dump truck carrying sand collided with a car.

Both vehicles were on fire and Gilbert Fire Department crews were able to put out the flames.

GFD reports only minor injuries in the crash and to expect delays during the morning commute.
