Eagle Down Memorial Run honors US Army Special Forces families

Hundreds of people gathered in Tempe on Sunday morning to show their support for families who have loved ones in the US Army Special Forces.

It's called the Eagle Down Memorial Run, and Fox 10's Marcy Jones caught up with the founder of the event.

After hearing the statistic that roughly 22 veterans commit suicide every day, Connor Butler partnered up with the Green Beret Association to start a run that raises awareness and supports those in the United States Army Special Forces and their families.

This can range from financial help, physical help with an injured service member, and being there for the family in any way possible.
