Ex-presidential candidate Bernie Sanders hosts Phoenix rally

PHOENIX (AP) - Former Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders will be in Phoenix this weekend to host a rally for Arizona Congressmen Ruben Gallego and Raul Grijalva.

The two-hour rally is scheduled to begin at noon Sunday at the Orpheum Theater in downtown Phoenix.

Tickets aren't required but organizers say online RSVPs are encouraged.

Sanders held multiple rallies in Arizona during his run for the Democratic nomination two years ago.

The 76-year-old Vermont senator is expected to speak on an array of topics during Sunday's rally, including the need for comprehensive immigration reform and the need to ensure every American has health care.
