Former Playboy worker, now living in Scottsdale, remembers Hugh Hefner

On Thursday, people are remembering Playboy founder Hugh Hefner by leaving flowers on his star at the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Hefner died on Wednesday night at the age of 91, reportedly of natural causes. He founded Playboy magazine in 1953, and built a brand that molded American sexual culture in the latter half of the 20th Century.

On Thursday, former playmates and club bunnies are remembering Hefner, and the empire he left behind.

Phoenix was also the site of a Playboy Club. The club opened opened in 1962, and closed in 1983. FOX 10's Steve Krafft spoke with Carol Pittel. Pittel, who now lives in Scottsdale, grew up in New Jersey, and worked for a year at the Playboy Club in New York City.
