FBI: Robbery suspect threatened to spray sulfuric acid on bank teller

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is searching for a man who they call "The Acid Bandit."

According to investigators, on January 27th at approximately 12:00 p.m., the suspect walked into a Wells Fargo Bank near University Drive and Gilbert Road, handed the teller a note demanding money and threatened to spray sulfuric acid on the teller if they didn't comply.

The teller ducked behind the counter and the suspect fled the bank in a silver or gold 4-door Toyota Camry with a temporary license plate.

The suspect is described as a white male, 55 to 60 years old, 5' 7" to 5' 9" tall, weighing 275 pounds with white hair. He may have acne or acne scars on his face. He was wearing a black baseball cap with an unknown logo on the front, a fake beard, blue long-sleeved shirt, black pants and black shoes.

The suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
