FBI searching for two men accused of robbing credit union in Phoenix

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Officials with the FBI said they are looking for two men, accused of robbing a credit union in North Phoenix Friday afternoon.

According to a statement released Friday night, the suspects are accused of robbing a Desert Schools Federal Credit Union at the 400 block of E. Thunderbird Road. The incident reportedly occurred at around 2:30 p.m., and the suspects allegedly threatened bank employees and customers with handguns, and demanded money from staff members.

At least one shot, according to the statement, was fired during the robbery, but no one was hurt. The suspects allegedly took off with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspects, according to the statement, are described as two white and/or Hispanic males, 20-30 years old, about 5' 8" to 6' 0" tall, and of average build. The suspects were wearing hooded sweatshirts and bandanas at the time.

The suspects, according to the FBI, are considered armed and dangerous.
