Flagstaff hit by its first winter storm
FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (KSAZ) - While cooler temps and a even a little rain is hitting the valley, Flagstaff is bracing for its first major winter storm.
Flagstaff is expected to get about three-to-six inches of snow within the next few days and residents are getting ready for the incoming storms.
As of 5 a.m. on Wednesday, the National Weather Service reports that the Flagstaff airport has received 4.5 inches of snow.
Due to the snow, the Flagstaff Unified School District announced that schools will have a delayed start on Wednesday.
