Former state politician, Ann Day, remembered at Tucson funeral

Former Arizona state senator and sister to former US Supreme Court Judge Sandra Day O'Connor, Ann Day, was remembered today.
Memorial services for former Pima County Supervisor Ann Day were held today in Tucson.
Day was killed earlier this month in a head-on collision in Tucson.
She was a key figure in creating the park where her services were held.
"I think people mourn, not just for the great loss that they feel, but for the fact that she was taken so suddenly, on Mother's Day."
Day served as a congresswoman for 10 years.
Before that she was a local teacher.
She was 77-years-old when she died.
