Funeral services for Phoenix Police Officer Paul Rutherford set for next week

PHOENIX (FOX 10) - Funeral services for fallen Phoenix Police Officer Paul Rutherford have been set.

Officer Rutherford was hit and killed by a vehicle while investigating a crash earlier this week. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, two adult sons and their wives, a grandson, his parents, two brothers and a sister.

A visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, March 27th at St. Thomas Aquinas in Avondale. There will be a public viewing from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. and Mass from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.

The funeral is planned for Thursday, March 28 at Christ's Church of the Valley in Peoria at 10:00 a.m. A procession will follow to Phoenix Memorial Park and Cemetery.
