GLENDALE, Ariz. (FOX 10) - Glendale Police are investigating after a body was found caught in fencing outside an apartment complex.
Police responded to the area of 47th Avenue and Bethany Home Road at 5:30 a.m. to find a man dead caught up in some fencing.
Investigators say the man appeared to have been climbing over the fence which resulted in him falling and becoming stuck in the fence. No obvious signs of trauma were found that led detectives to believe this could have been criminal, but they do believe he could have been stuck for three hours.
The cause of death is unknown, and his identity is not being released at this time.
Police say he was possibly transient in the area and there was evidence of possible drug use.
The body was removed and sent to the Medical Examiner's office for further investigation.
