GLENDALE, Ariz. (KSAZ) -- Glendale Police officials say a person is dead, following a crash involving an ATV Monday afternoon.
The crash, according to officials, happened in on the 5300 block of W. Luke Avenue. According to a statement issued by Sgt. John Roth with Glendale Police, there were two adult men on the ATV when the vehicle lost control, rolled, and left the roadway. Sgt. Roth said one man was declared dead at the scene, and the other was taken to a hospital with life threatening injuries.
Police did not release the identity of either victims, and police officials did not say whether the man who died was the driver or the passenger on the ATV.
Speed, according to police, is believed to be a factor at this time.
As a result of the crash, Luke Avenue is closed from 51st Avenue to 54th Avenue.
