GLENDALE, Ariz. (Fox 10) - Glendale Police say an officer has suffered injuries after his patrol vehicle was struck by a car while responding to a vehicle collision near 59th Ave and Missouri Ave.
As the officer arrived at the scene with his emergency lights on, he was hit by another passing vehicle. He sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries. He was transported to a nearby hospital.
Police say the officer is recovering. It is not known if the driver of the other vehicle will face any charges.
