GLENDALE, Ariz. (FOX 10) -- Glendale Police officials say Tuesday that a man who was struck by a car Monday night is still fighting for his life at a hospital.

The crash, according to police, happened in the area of 59th Drive and W. Glendale Avenue. The man, identified on Tuesday as 67-year-old Kenneth Cahill, was crossing Glendale Avenue within a marked crosswalk on 59th Drive when he was struck by a car traveling on Glendale Avenue. That car then fled, heading west on Glendale Avenue.

Cahill, police say, is still fighting for his life at the hospital. The suspect vehicle is described as a dark color sedan, and should have damage to the front of the car, and possibly the windshield, due to impact.
