GOVERNMENT SHUTDOWN: Federal employees face uncertain future

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - As the U.S. Government Shutdown began at the stroke of midnight (Eastern Time), hundreds of thousands of Federal employees may be asked to not show up at work on Monday.

For many in the nation's Armed Forces, they will continue to work, but they may not be receiving a paycheck next week.
