GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Harold W. Smith Elementary School was placed on lockdown after reports of a gun on campus.
It appears that no gun has been found, but police aren't taking any chances and are searching the school, which is located near 63rd Avenue and Bethany Home Road.

Safety sweeps are complete. The campus is now safe and secure. Parents can respond to the Harold W Smith office in an orderly fashion to pickup their children.
