HELPING THOSE IN NEED: Over 1,000 received hot Thanksgiving meal

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Thanksgiving is a day to give thanks, as well as a day to give. On Thursday, some people in the Valley made sure the "giving" was plentiful.

On Thursday morning, St. Vincent de Paul worked with organization Champions for the Homeless to give hundreds a Thanksgiving meal. They fed more than 1,000 people, with a room full of former NFL players and smiling volunteers.
