Hit-and-run leaves valley teacher in critical condition
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Silent Witness if offering a $20,000 reward for information on a suspect involved in a hit-and-run that has left a valley school teacher in extremely critical condition.
The Scottsdale Police Department tells Fox 10 that on Oct. 25 at 6:30 p.m., 33-year-old Maureen Brown, an eighth grade science teacher at Cocopah Middle School, was crossing the street near 124th Street and Shea Boulevard, when she was struck by a vehicle.
The vehicle left the scene immediately and Brown was transported to a local hospital where she has undergone over 10 major surgeries for her critical injuries.
The suspect's vehicle is described as a black, four-door sedan and will have damage to the front, hood and windshield.
