Holiday gift shopping at the airport

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - The holidays are near, and many are not quite ready. For those hitting the airport to travel, they can also get some shopping in.

Many people are beginning their travel for the holidays, and for some that means getting those last minute holiday gifts at the airport.

"We found these darling hand-knit sweaters from Peru, which we thought were kind of like Arizona sweaters, and they would really be cute for the little ones," said Pam Nordberg.

At the airport, there are dozens of shops and restaurants that are staffed to handle the flood of people.

So whether it's to kill time, or just to get those last minute essentials, you can basically find everything you need right here at the airport.

Some of the stores will stay open later if they are busy.
