Officials with ADOT announced a number of weekend road work that will affect the I-10, I-17, and Loop 101.
Due to rubberized asphalt resurfacing, ADOT officials said all eastbound and westbound I-10 ramps to I-17 at the Stack interchange are closed from 10:00 p.m. Friday, to 5:00 a.m. on Monday, July 17. Officials say drivers could leave the I-10 at 7th, 19th, 27th, or 35th Avenues, and connect with I-17 via local streets.
ADOT officials noted that all I-17 ramps connecting to I-10 at the Stack will remain open.
Due to freeway lighting maintenance, Southbound I-17 will be restricted to one lane between 7th Street and the "Split" interchange near Sky Harbor Airport, from 9:00 p.m. Friday to 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. ADOT officials say drivers should consider alternate routes, including eastbound I-10 in Downtown Phoenix.
Loop 101/Glendale Avenue
Due to pavement improvements, There will be onramp and off-ramp restrictions at the the intersection of Glendale Avenue and Loop 101. Traffic using the Loop 101 off-ramps will not have access to eastbound Glendale Avenue, according to ADOT.
