Inflatable Santa Claus stolen from Laveen home, leaves resident deflated

PHOENIX (FOX 10) -- Folks in a Laveen neighborhood in Southwest Phoenix feeling a bit deflated, after somebody made off with an inflatable Santa Claus.

The incident happened in a neighborhood near 51st Avenue and Baseline. There's still a snowman and festive Christmas lights, but it's just not the same without the big guy.

"Personally I do not think they should have any presents this year," said Malcolm Johnson. "I don't know/ It is just not right."

It didn't have to happen, it shouldn't have happened, but there's still time to make things right.

"Maybe we can help here, because people sometimes have a conscience," said Johnson. "If they took it, it is just Santa. Has a rip already. No reward, not report you to the cops, just bring it back and forget about it. It is just a Santa Claus. That's it."

Anyone with information can call Phoenix Police.
