"Kardashian rats" up for adoption at Arizona Humane Society

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Several rats named after some of the famous Kardashian women are now up for adoption at the Arizona Humane Society.

They include Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, Kris, as well as Kylie, named after Kylie Jenner.

The Humane Society recently received 10 rats from a group called Any Rat Rescue, which got overwhelmed with rats.

The Humane Society says rats are very social, clean and intelligent, and do well together as pairs.

Spokeswoman Bretta Nelson told Fox 10 Phoenix how these rats got named after the Kardashians:

"We just have an adoption counselor that has a little thing for the Kardashians. She was like, 'gosh, we have 10 rats. What are we possibly going to name them?' And of course, that family has enough people, that it can translate to rats pretty well," she said.

The rats can be adopted for $10, and they're available at the Humane Society's Campus for Compassion on Dobbins Road in Phoenix.
