CHANDLER, Ariz. (KSAZ) - A 45-year-old man has been arrested by Chandler Police, in connection with accusations of child molestation over 10 years ago.
According to a statement by Chandler Police, Michael Guest was arrested on Tuesday. Police said in October, they were contacted regarding accusations of child molestation by Guest. The accusations reportedly involved two alleged male victims, and the incidents reportedly date back to 1998 and 2004
Police said Guest was an instructional assistant at Andersen Junior High School from 1995 to 1999, and later worked as an after school program coordinator at the same junior high school, but employed by the City of Chandler, from 2000 to 2002.
In addition, Guest, according to police, worked as a youth basketball referee throughout the East Valley.
According to documents provided by Chandler Police, the first alleged victim, who is now 28 years old, first met Guest when he was seven years old, and later met Guest again when he attended junior high. According to the documents, the incidents involving the first alleged victim took place, when the alleged victim was between 13 and 16 years old.
The second alleged victim, according to the documents, is currently 31 years old, and went to the same junior high school as the first alleged victim.
Guest, according to police, is being held at the Maricopa County Jail on multiple charges, including alleged Molestation of a Child, alleged Sexual Conduct with a Minor, alleged Kidnapping, and alleged Sexual Assault.
