Man arrested for assault at Phoenix bar

PHOENIX (AP) - Police have arrested a man in connection with an assault at a Phoenix bar that left another man critically injured.

Authorities said Sunday that 43-year-old Jose Luis Servin Beltran has been booked on a charge of aggravated assault.

But police are still looking for two other suspects.

According to police, Beltran admitted to being involved in the Wednesday assault.

All three suspects allegedly walked into Wild Bill's Saloon with the 57-year-old male victim. The victim sat in a corner while the others played pool.

Police allege Beltran then went over and struck the victim's face with a pool cue for an unknown reason.

The victim then collapsed and the suspects fled. Police say the victim was taken to a hospital but is not expected to survive his injuries.
