Man caught on camera trying to hide face during armed robbery

- A reward is offered for a man accused of pointing a handgun at clerks and trying to rob a Phoenix smoke shop.

Police say the suspect walked into the store at 17th Street and Indian School on Monday, December 11th at about 6pm.  They say the suspect walked over to the cooler, pulled his hoodie over his head, and covered his face with a black bandana.  The suspect pointed a semi-automatic handgun at the clerks, demanding money, but he ended up leaving without any cash.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his 20's, 6'1", and about 240 pounds.  Anyone with information is asked to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.  There is a cash reward involved and you can remain anonymous.
