Man crashes into power pole after driving wrong way

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - A man crashed into a power pole early Monday morning after driving the wrong way on a valley road.

Phoenix police say the man was driving the wrong way on Thunderbird near 35th Avenue when he crashed into the pole. The man was injured, but is expected to survive.

The roadway is closed as police conduct their investigation, however, it is expected to open soon.
