Man dead, suspect sought following shooting outside Glendale bar

GLENDALE, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Glendale police say a man is dead and a suspect is on the loose following an early-morning shooting outside a bar.

The Glendale Police Department says the shooting happened just after 2:30 a.m. outside of Marc's Sports Grill and Nightlife near 43rd and Peoria Avenues.

After arriving at the bar, officers found 48-year-old Julian Hackett suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died.

Glendale police say witnesses reported seeing a man approach Hackett and shoot him multiple time before running from the bar.

The suspect is described as being 5'5" tall with a thin build.
