Man stabbed by girlfriend during domestic violence dispute

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Police say a man is in serious condition after being stabbed by his girlfriend during a domestic dispute in Scottsdale.

The Scottsdale Police Department tells Fox 10 that the stabbing happened at an apartment near McDowell and Pima after a man and woman got into an argument.

Investigators say the woman stabbed her boyfriend in the arm after he attempted to strangle her several times during their confrontation. The man then ran to a nearby bus stop and the woman dialed 9-1-1.

Police say the woman is a victim of domestic violence in this incident.

The investigation is ongoing by Scottsdale police.
