2010 double murder case in Phoenix remains unsolved

December 2nd marks the five year anniversary of an unsolved murder case. Two women were killed inside their Phoenix home and police are still looking for leads.

Family and friends held a vigil Thursday night near 7th Street and Lincoln to bring attention to this case, which is still open.

Five years ago, Melissa Mason and Nicole Glass -- both just 27-years-old, were found murdered by strangulation. It happened at their Phoenix home, located on East Cambridge Avenue around 12:30 p.m. These women lived together and sadly, Mason was pregnant at the time of her death.

Police say there was no sign of forced entry and the killer locked the door on the way out.

The case hasn't been solved and now the victim's friends and family are trying to get some attention to the case in hopes of some new leads. There are billboards throughout the valley highlighting the case as well.
