MCSO: Dive team recovers body of 15-year-old boy at Bartlett Lake

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (KSAZ) - A missing 15-year-old male was found deceased at Bartlett Lake in Scottsdale on Sunday.

Just before 12 p.m., Maricopa County Sheriff's Office deputies were dispatched to just south of Sandy Beach Cove at Bartlett Lake for a missing 15-year-old male.

Deputies learned the 15-year-old was swimming with a friend, and the friend lost sight of him.

He immediately went to shore and called for help.

MCSO dive team responded and at 3:26 p.m., they finally found the body of the missing teenager in approximately 15 feet of water.

There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding this incident at this time.
