MCSO looking for vehicle involved in hit-and-run crash

MESA, Ariz. (KSAZ) - The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office is asking for help locating a vehicle involved in a hit-and- run crash.

Deputies say a man was walking on Apache Trail just east of Hawes Road when he was struck by a vehicle sometime before 7:30 a.m. Monday. The vehicle did not stop or call emergency services.

Investigators believe the suspect vehicle to be a 2004 to 2008 Nissan Maxima. The color is unknown and there should be damage to the front, right side of the car. The photo provided is for reference only.

The victim suffered serious injuries.
