PHOENIX (FOX 10) -- Officials with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office say they have detained two persons of interest in connection with a string of criminal damage incidents in the Queen Creek area.
FOX 10 first reported on the incidents on Wednesday, where cars belong to more than 100 people were broken. In a subdivision near Sossaman and Quen Creek Roads, someone has shot out dozens of car windows over the course of six days.
"We do know it's probably multiple vehicles and multiple people going around at nighttime," said MCSO Sgt. Joaquin Enriquez Wednesday. "And they're shooting out windows with BB guns and they are getting out of vehicles and smashing car windows with unknown objects."
Officials with MCSO say investigators located a potential suspect vehicle and the two persons of interest on Thursday morning. Both persons of interest are juveniles. An investigation into the case is ongoing.
