CAVE CREEK, Ariz. (FOX 10/AP) - Authorities say a woman was rescued from a 20-foot hole in Cave Creek.
According to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, a woman was hiking near the Spur Cross Conservation area on Sunday when she became trapped in the hole, which may have been a mine shaft.
The woman's father became worried when he hadn't heard from her and called MCSO.
Deputies responded to the area and found the woman just before 11 p.m.
She was rescued from the hole and treated for minor injuries.
