Mexican residents and officials are cleaning up after Hurricane Patricia made landfall Saturday.
Heavy equipment is on scene to clear debris left on the roads by the powerful storm.
Utility workers are also busy trying to restore power after a number of poles were knocked down.
A lot of trees also toppled by the high winds.
Smaller communities suffered the most damage.
As was reported yesterday, Patricia is the strongest hurricane ever measured to hit Mexico; and she isn’t done wreaking havoc just yet.
And although she is weakening as she moves inland, this powerful storm is expected to dump rain through the night as it heads across the US.
