Milwaukee Brewers break ground on $60M spring training ballpark renovation

- The Milwaukee Brewers hope their new spring training facility will hit a home run with fans.

The $60 million facelift will include a new entry plaza, a swanky clubhouse, tasty concessions, and even more.

"On the first-base side, we will have a brand new concourse," Tyler Barnes said.

Barnes, who works with the Brewers, says this will be the same spring training baseball that fans know and love, but with a much higher level of involvement. Barnes adds that the players will also enjoy some upgrades, like new batting tunnels, locker rooms, and agility fields.

"It really does take the fan experience to the next level," he said.

Even though fans all seem to be excited about the changes, everyone wants to know how long they have to wait before watching the first pitch in the brand new digs?

The answer may surprise you.

"About 10 months," Barnes said.
