Monsoon storms hit portions of the Valley

Parts of the Valley were hit by a round of monsoon storms Wednesday night.

Two separate storms were seen. One hit the East Valley, and the other storm hit the West Valley. Viewer submitted video show the rain coming down hard in the Sun City area, as well as El Mirage.

Besides the Valley, areas north of the Valley were also hit. A viewer who shot video of a creek in Yavapai County said the waters turned black, due to the soot leftover from the Goodwin Fire.
