Motorcycle rider dead following crash in Phoenix

Phoenix police officials say a man is dead, following a crash involving a motorcycle and two other vehicles Monday evening.

According to a statement, the crash took place at the intersection of 43rd and Orangewood Avenues. Officers responded to the scene at about 6:30 p.m., with witnesses reporting that a car heading north on 43rd Avenue was making a left turn when it collided with a southbound motorcycle.

The car, police say, also collided into a second vehicle, and the motorcycle rider, identified as 29-year-old Noah Clarence Bailey, was declared dead at the scene. At least four people in both cars were taken for treatment.

Police say two of the drivers involved in the crash displayed symptoms of impairment and the investigatio is ongoing.
