Motorcyclist in 'extremely critical condition' following morning crash

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - A serious crash involving a motorcycle and SUV has closed a valley intersection through the morning commute on Friday.

The Phoenix Police Department tells Fox 10 that the crash has closed the intersection of Union Hills and 16th Street in all directions. Drivers are advised to avoid the area.

The motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital in extremely critical condition.
