Motorcyclist injured in Glendale hit-and-run crash

Glendale Police say a motorcyclist is expected to survive after a hit-and-run crash on Northern Avenue on Saturday morning.

The crash reportedly happened at about 4:15 am. Police on-scene say the driver who struck the motorcyclist did not remain on the scene.

Glendale Police officers say the motorcyclist was traveling on 49th Avenue when the bike was struck by a vehicle. Witnesses say the motorcyclist did not stop for a stop sign. The motorcyclist was rushed to the hospital after the crash, and is expected to survive.

Glendale Police found the suspect's vehicle a short distance away, but they have not located the driver who reportedly injured the motorcyclist.
