Motorcyclist killed in fiery crash in Phoenix

UPDATE (August 2): Phoenix Police officials identified the motorcycle rider who died as Celso Mireles-Martinez, 30.

The driver of the other vehicle was only identified as a 51-year-old woman, and she was reportedly cited for running a red light and for having no driver's license.

Firefighters say a man is dead after his motorcycle collided with a pickup truck in Phoenix.

The Phoenix Fire Department says the fiery crash happened near 12th Street and Missouri on Tuesday morning.

Witnesses at the scene told firefighters that they extinguished the flames following the crash and pulled the victim away from the flames.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

The Phoenix Police Department will conduct the investigation.
