No A/C: residents say management ignoring requests to fix broken cooler

Some residents at an east side apartment complex say their air conditioning has been out for days, and they're sick of it.
They say management isn't fixing the problem, so FOX 10 went to get answers.
The complex is the Arcadia Vista Apartments near 32nd Street and Thomas. Tenants say if they pay rent, they should have cool air.
Residents have been sweltering in the heat of Phoenix with no escape at their home.
"I don't think the fans are working in some apartments, I put my hand up to it, the air is cool, but there is not very much of it," said Joseph Funk.
The residents say management has been by to fix the air conditioning, but it still isn't working.
"It's not working, we put in a work order and they haven't fixed anything, we tried calling their emergency numbers and they don't do anything," said Jasmine Cordova.
So how long has it been broken?
"A week," said Cordova.
FOX 10 stopped by the manager's office at the complex, management declined to talk about the lack of air conditioning and asked us to leave the property. So we did, and it left behind some steamed tenants.
"I mean we're paying rent, always on time, but it's not fair that we put in work orders, and they don't do anything about it," said Cordova.
The City of Phoenix has resources that can help in these situations, for more information visit:
