PHOENIX (KSAZ) - As dancers with Ballet Arizona prepare for the opening night of "The Nutcracker" that is scheduled for December, they also spent some time with patients at Phoenix Children's Hospital.
The dancers arrived in full costume on Thursday morning, with that iconic music from Nutcracker playing, and even stayed in character for some of the visits with the kids.
In addition, the dancers also shared their experiences about dancing in the Ballet.
"I think that we can share our love for art and inspire them, inspire children, that's everything," said Mimi Tompkins.
The Nutcracker is scheduled to have its opening night on December 9.
