Palo Verde beetles surface with monsoon season

They are big, they can fly and they are creeping out a lot of people in the Valley.
The recent monsoon moisture is bringing out the Palo Verde beetles.
They may look scary to some but they are harmless.
FOX 10's Marcy Jones got the details on these critters.
Palo Verde Beetles are completely harmless but pest experts say they may still give you a good scare. Sage Garvey of Burns Pest Elimination says half the time people don't even know what they are.
"I have huge flying cockroaches around my house. No you have Palo Verde beetles. They don't harm pets," said Garvey.
Sage says every monsoon season they come, they reproduce and then they die but if necessary to call pest control.
