PHOENIX (FOX 10) - Phoenix Police are searching for the suspect involved in a hit-and-run crash that left a woman and three children seriously injured.
Police say a 25-year-old woman and her three young children, a 2-year-old girl and boys ages 3 and 5 were crossing the roadway near 67th Avenue and Indian School Road when they stopped in the left turn lane. A small, four-door sedan entered the turn lane hitting the woman and children.
The 2-year old girl in a stroller was caught under the vehicle and dragged for 1,000 feet, according to Phoenix Police.
Investigators said witnesses were able to stop the vehicle and get the girl out. The driver then fled the scene and was last seen traveling north on 71st Avenue from Indian School Road.
The woman and three children were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The 3-year-old boy received the most serious injuries.
