PD: Nude man who was tased after assaulting a Phoenix police officer has died
PHOENIX (FOX 10) - Phoenix Police say a nude man who was tased last week after assaulting an officer has died.
Police say they responded to the area of 35th Ave. and Deer Valley Rd. the afternoon of February, 4 to find Casey Wells, 40, with no clothes on acting erratically in the street.
Police contacted Wells who then assaulted an officer. One officer deployed his taser and Wells was taken into custody and to a hospital in extremely critical condition.
Investigators confirm that Wells has died and say that the medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
