SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (FOX 10) - A San Francisco Giants player has been arrested on DUI charges in Scottsdale.
Police say Cameron Maybin, an outfielder for the Giants, was pulled over Friday morning on March 1 near Scottsdale and Jackrabbit Roads.
Officers report Maybin was speeding, traveling about 55 mph in a 35 mph zone and 60 mph in a 40 mph zone.
Maybin told officers he had five glasses of wine at Ocean 44, according to police. Records show his blood alcohol level was more than one and a half times the legal limit.
In a statement to Fox 10, the San Francisco Giants said, "We are aware and are monitoring the situation and we have no further comment at this time."
