Peoria firefighters battle garage fire blaze

PEORIA, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Peoria fire officials and Maricopa County deputies are investigating a small fire that started in a detached garage Sunday afternoon.

The fire started around 4:45 p.m. near 105 th Avenue and Mariposa Grande.

Officials said no one was inside the home when the fire started, but there were several cars in the detached garage.

There were no hydrants near the fire, so firefighters struggled to get enough water to the blaze.

At this time, the cause of the fire is unknown.
