Peoria Police: Two burglars caught on camera stealing safe from home

PEORIA, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Peoria Police are looking for two burglars who broke into a Peoria home and stole a safe and electronics.

In video provided by the homeowners, it shows the two suspects at the front door, ringing the doorbell.

Police say they were also knocking at the door, perhaps trying to make sure no one was home.

Shortly after, one of the suspects slid through the doggie door on the side of the house. Surveillance cameras capture him opening the front door from the inside for his accomplice.

The first stop was a bedroom where they used a laundry basket from the home as their shopping bag. One of the burglars was piling what appears to be electronics.

Both burglars then started to work together to carry a long safe from the room. However, neither suspect seems to notice the cameras in the room.

One man took off his mask before carrying the basket out. The video shows that the other man removes his mask as well as they carry out the electronics and safe.
