Phoenix couple's home gets big makeover after devastating flood

Times have been pretty tough for Frank and Rosie Ortiz.

The couple has lived at their home on East Jones Avenue since the 1950s and have experienced a number of trials with Frank's health, including cancer, dementia and PTSD.

But what really hit home was when the unthinkable happened.

The drain separated from the tub in their bathroom, devastating the floorplan with severe water damage.

One Valley construction company is going above and beyond what insurance will cover, giving the Korean War veteran and his wife a big home makeover.

The Arizona Construction and Restoration Company, along with a number of volunteer groups and organizations, have helped to make this project a success, and Frank and Rosie can hardly wait to get settled.

After what felt like forever, today, the couple is finally able to return to home sweet home.

"I don't know what to say... just thank you God, thank you everybody," Rosie said.
