PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Police say a 12-year-old girl has died after she was hit by a car at a Phoenix intersection on Tuesday morning.
According to Sgt. Armando Carbajal of Phoenix police, the girl was hit by a vehicle at the intersection of 59th Avenue and Indian School Road.
Police say the vehicle did not stop after the collision and left the scene.
The girl was taken to a local hospital where she later died.
Police say there is no description of the suspect's vehicle available at this time.
