Phoenix Police looking for woman missing since Aug. 4

PHOENIX (KSAZ) -- Phoenix Police officials are asking for the public's help, as they search for a woman who has been missing since August 4.

According to a statement, 19-year-old Kiera Lanae Bergman was last seen at her home near 51st Avenue and Thunderbird Road, and has not returned home or heard from since.

Bergman is described by Phoenix Police as an African American woman, 5'3" tall and weighing 143 lbs. Police did not provide a description of what she was last seen wearing.

"I just want her home," said Kiera's mother, Kirsten Bragg. "I want her in my arms and safe."

Bragg said when she reached out to her daughter via text on Saturday, there was no response. When she called, her daughter's phone was off.

"I'm crazy. I'm going crazy," said Bragg. "I'm a nervous wreck. I'm exhausted just thinking of all these scenarios in my head."

"My biggest fear is that they're gonna find her, and she's not gonna be here anymore," said Bragg. "That's my biggest fear."

Anyone with information on this case should call the Phoenix Police Department Missing Persons Unit at (602) 534-2121. For calls made after hours, call (602) 262-6141.
